By Darling Pughie: Hello Darling Stewettes! My name is Natalie Pugh, sister to the lovely Darling Stewie. I love anything crafty, artsy, and best of all inexpensive. If I can make it with my hands, especially if I get to reuse or repurpose something, then I’m game. I’m super excited to be able to bring you the DYI section of Darling Stewie, so hopefully you come across a project or two (or more!) that you find interesting enough to want to try.
Organize your make-up brushes with these cute cup holders!
If you’re like me, you have a constant need to organize while beautifying your space. Those two traits lead me to this awesome project of makeup brush storage cups. With the amount of makeup brushes I had, it was getting harder and harder to find the one I needed while keeping my things in place.
These are very simple to make and cost very little as well. Total cost for this project is $10… $3 per glass jar and $4 for a bag of ColorFill Vase Filler plastic beads…both items were purchased from Michael’s. I had leftover stick on letters from a scrapbooking project.
Fill each jar with the plastic beads (I used half of a bag per jar here), stick on the letters for whatever your brushes are used for (you could even make one for Lips if you have a lot of lipsticks or glosses), and fill with your brushes, make up, etc. What a chic, cute way to display your makeup brushes while not spending a lot of money. Cheap + cute = happy Pughie
