The 3rd annual Love Want Wear Trunk Show was this Sunday. Run by my co-workers Amanda and Maura, it was a gala event with an incredible turnout. Woman packed into the Bistro on the Ave in Kingston and scoured their tables for fineries. Love Want Wear are purveyors of affordable and adorable trendy accessories.

The tables were adorned with colorful ray ban style sunglasses, fun scarves, and Local Celebrity tees. The colors of the items were predominently teal, orange, and black. There were a lot of spiked/studded leather cuffs, coral/ocean inspired rings, chevron patterned handbags, and tribal/geometric house of Harlow-esque necklaces.

The event is not just a place to shop. You’ll get free champagne and pastries while you browse. It’s a great place to connect with other fashion loving locals. It brings a unique, luxurious, fashion-centric social event to this area. While NEPA isn’t notorious for fashion savoir faire, this event wasn’t out of place in the slightest, and its large turn out and the overwhelmingly positive response from the shoppers reflected that. Everyone who left, left with a shopping bag.

Shameless self promotion time… I designed their lovely logo and that Black Sunday invitation up on top! Sorry, I can’t help myself! Like them on Facebook!
