(I still have a few more giveaways to plow through, but in the meantime I wanted to take some time to post an entry about some of the milestones of this year.)
2012 was such a fantastic year for me. I am so blessed and lucky to have been able to do so many fun things this year! Here’s a few of the cool things I did 
I ran my first ever marathon 5K thingie. The Dirty Girl Mud Run proceeds benefit breast cancer research, and it was really fun to boot! Our team name was the Chicas Ricas and I ran it with my co-workers at PepperJam. I can’t wait to do it again in 2013 – so much dirty fun!
I founded my Etsy store, Word To Your Unicorn, this year. I’m glad to have an additional creative outlet aside from this blog. It’s been more successful than I could have hoped! I was lucky enough to be featured on a few adorable blogs, including Sparkle Girl Jen, Twinkie Chan, and Girl Gone Geek! I’m looking forward to selling my goods at Setsucon at the Antipode Antics booth in 2013.
My amazing niece was born – she’s a pip! She’s 50% Korean and 100% adorable. I am so happy for my sister Natalie and my brother-in-law Greg. They sure made one adorable baby and I am so blessed to be her aunt! I will give her all the gums o___o
My baby princess poochy turned 6. She is special, just look at that face! She had a fun birthday party and we even got her a little doggy food cake! Nom nom nom.
Mark and I went to see one of my most favorite bands, Die Antwoord in Washington DC! The show was friggin epic. Fokk ya! We even got a few good videos!
I helped put together an extremely successful blogging and social media conference in the land of NEPA, thusly called NEPA BlogCon. It was a bright ray of the silicon valley here in the Wilkes-Barre area! I’m thankful to know my squirrely comrades Karla Porter, Michelle Hryvnak-Davies, and Mandy Boyle who were essential in pulling it off. Looking forward to putting it together next year – bigger, better, and slightly re-branded.
Mark and I celebrated our 2 year anniversary. I am so lucky to be with a guy who is such a great compliment to be. We’re 2 peas in a pod! I am looking forward to many more years and many more couples costumes.
Mark and I went on our second annual trip to New York to do the awesome New York Comic Con! I met Simone Legno, the mastermind behind Tokidoki, which was so exciting!! I also ran into fellow geek girl blogger Girl Gone Geek! Mark and I had a hoot with our amazing Twitter Family xoxo. (I mean you, Pat, Tony, and Marissa!) So psyched for next year!!
That wasn’t nearly everything cool that happened, but this is a good snap shot. This is also a lot of things that will probably be happening next year, so I have a lot to look forward to! Tonight I will be lucky enough to spending New Year’s with some of my best pals in Hazleton, PA at Paradise Bar & Grill.
